On Easter day 17 children came to Junior Church with a marvellous display of Easter bonnets, hats and decorated eggs. We started with a “hunt the Easter story and Easter egg trail” in Puzzle Wood and then returned to church for the children to read their part of the story. Activities continued with making Easter egg baskets to take home. Many thanks to all children and parents for helping to make our Easter celebrations extra special.
Singleton School is a Church of England aided school and as such St Anne’s and the school enjoy very close links. As well as the usual Carol Service and Nativity Plays and Easter celebrations that we have in church, we also hold an Education Sunday. Every few months we hold our regular Family Communion service actually in the School Hall. It is still at the usual time of 9.30am and we welcome young and old to join us for this wonderful service.
